Krystyn is a PhD student exploring the past, present, and future of the European sea lemon invasion in the northwest Atlantic. Krystyn is originally from Vancouver Island where he completed an HBSc at Vancouver Island University. His previous research focused on mitochondrial genomes and metagenomes in Canadian mammals (e.g. lynx, marmot). Beyond research, Krystyn enjoys birding, climbing, and playing the piano. Krystyn is co-supervised by Kara Layton.
